West Wind Stables Ground Breaking Ceremony

West Wind Stables finalized the purchase of 160 acres of land in Oak Bluff on April 27 2010.  The official groundbreaking was held on April 30 2010 where we celebrated the first step in the building of our new facility. 

Despite the pouring rain, over 30 people came out to mark the special day with us.  We were pleased to also have in attendance, Elaine Potter from Toronto who was in for the weekend hosting a Dressage clinic. 

Afterwards an excited, but soggy group went back to our interim home, Teske’s, for a good old fashioned BBQ potluck - West Wind style.  We would like to thank everyone for their support over this past year and a half while this process unfolded, without that support we wouldn’t be where we are at today, ready to take this next big step into the future!  We look forward to seeing this dream become a reality!
